Wuhan Boiler Company Ltd., previously Wuhan Boiler Factory founded in 1954, was listed on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange in 1998 with a registered capital of 297 million RMB. In July 2007, Alstom successfully acquired 51% share of WBC and became the controlling shareholder of the company. On November 2th, 2015, GE completed the acquisition of Alstom's power and power grid business, and became the controlling shareholder of the company. Following the implementation of GE's global exit strategy for coal power, GE transferred its 51% stake to Douben Automotive Parts Company Ltd. in January 2022. Under the management of Douben - the controlling shareholder of the company, WBC will continue to provide high-level services to traditional power customers while embarking on a new journey of transformation and upgrading.more
